Bangkok gets on the bus – BRT

BRT is the new service of transport in Bangkok. The first route of the BRT or Bus Rapid Transit is set to launch in this month. It’s running along a 16 km loop from the central Chong Nongsi skytrain station out along the Chao Phraya River and over the Rama III bridge into Thonburi. The BRT’s luxurious, air-conditioned transport will running every 10 minutes. The BRT offers use electronic tickets, swiped at station gates and integrated with the city’s high-tech Skytrain network for convenience of passengers.Bangkok’s Metro and Skytrain have already eliminate the congestion in Bangkok. Exploring the new BRT service is currently free, until the ticketing system is operational in September. Tickets will then be 10 baht until the year-end and from 12 to 20 baht next year. The BRT along with new Skytrain Metro lines under construction will now give Bangkok one of the best transport networks of any city in the world.

Nowadays has many problems about transport especially traffic jams. The BRT is new choice for who want to go to other places in Bangkok. It’s comfortable and you don’t wait the bus for long time. While you wait the BRT you not confront with air pollution from cars.Because it has the room and seat while you wait.Furthermore the fare of BRT is nearly the general buses but comfortable and better quality. In the futue BRT will used electronic tickets swiped at station gates for convenience of passengers.I think it is good choice in transport and popular for peoples.
