Ban Haeng villagers in Lampang's Ngao district were lured to sell their lands by Kiew Lueng Co . The company first informed that they will used villagers’ land for growing eucalyptus. However, the company used to these land for lignite mine. Since the lignite mine will disturb way of life and destroy the villagers’ health, the protest and legal battle take place. After five years, a court ordered Egat to compensate villagers and relocate them to safer areas.
This news is about environment news.It’s very interesting news for me.In my opinion,Nowadays, many people don't realize about environment for examples, the Kiew Lueng Company lie people who lives in the village in order to sell their land.I don't agree with this company's activity because they destroy the land for building the mine.In addition , this makes a pollution especially, air pollution and endangers people in the village.
