Reds' rights 'still denied'

Three months after the April-May crackdown, red-shirt supporters were still denied their basic rights and information about the process these people have been through have yet to be clarified to their immediate family members and the public. The Centre, which is an alliance of a dozen lawyers, academics, and social activists called for the government to release all information about circumstances the red-shirt demonstrators have been facing after the April-May crackdown. The Centre’s information about the state of anti-government red-shirt suspects was gathered from online and hotline grievances and the National Human Rights Commission. The overall picture of the Red-Shirted circumstances was not yet available. The information remained sensitive and fluid and therefore could not be simply passed on to the Kanit-chaired panel or the police officers.Mr Anusorn said the majority of the arrest warrants were unclear and ambiguous. Sixteen of the suspects in Mukdahan were tortured to confess on arson. Several properties were also missing during the interrogation. The Centre did not protect or defend charges for these suspects. The Centre also highlighted a prominent case of Prayuth Moolsan, who has been in the final stage of cancer said Ms Kwanravee.

In my opinion, I think the Thai policy is not quite peaceful because it still has protestors who against the government. Thai people should choose correct information. They have to divide about the truth and the allegation. They have to think a lot before they would like to criticize someone. They have to beware about their thinking. Nobody likes the allegation. You should know the truth before accuse the person. Maybe they have to do because the order. You have to think about all of thing that happening. Then think critically and follow the news closely. For example, when they read this news, they should concern about cause and effect carefully.
